yo know whats pathetic.. they say stuff and it dont do what they say its suposed to do and hide things .. 1 major thing is the blue tooth DOES NOT work with adriod only IOS... fail.. do not buy this if you expect remot conectivity with out an IOS device. THEY DO NOT SUPPORT ANDRIOD.

Hello everyone. I have this microphone P820, when you touch the case it starts to sound strongly, hissing, who has the same problem, please tell me how to fix it.

I am not a musician but a former recording engineer (retired). I got a Zoom L12 which works as a mixer and multi track recorder, but, because it has 6 different analog mixes out, can also work as a analog multi track recorder. You can insert it in a 4 channel "tape monitor" loop in a quadraphonic preamp or receiver and both record quadraphonic albums and tapes to digital, and play back same into a multi channel analog input on a surround receiver! With effects etc added.

What mic would you recommend for streaming/music. I was looking at smb7b but want a true professionals take.

I have the m-audio air 192|4, and it isnt as bad as this review makes it out to be. Ive never had any issues with mine, the mic isnt the best but it captured my acoustic guitar perfectly, and the headphones arent for mixing but for monitoring what youre sending into the interface.

Do you think this will have enough power to run a Lewitt Ray microphone. This seems almost perfect from my streamer needs on web video calls, Ie. run all from one device.

Notice the volume and tone fluctuations as you move toward and away from the mic. Much more noticeable with the 58, meaning more post production to get similar results to the 7b. Consistency is the 7b’s super power lol. I’m not saying every extra penny you pay for a 7B is worth it, but generally speaking, when you pay premium prices (for something that’s well built and not an out and out scam), you’re paying for convenience. If you pay $500 for a really nice channel strip, you don’t have to worry about 7B gain issues. If you don’t want to pay that, you can buy a mic booster and 2 cables. If you don’t want to pay for the 7b at all, you can get a 58, or if you really want max flexibility, a 57 and a pop filter, and work compression and eq in post. How much is your time worth? It’s different for different people at different stages of their career or hobby.

I was excited for this one and to here a comparision between this and fifine am8. Its rare that maono dropped the ball. So i will be picking up the fifine am8 either on my birthday or on sale. I did like how the rgb lighting looked in the pic tho

Maono isn't bad for starters that's for certain. This one I'd recommend to people on a budget, easily. But if you're an audio nerd like my self, It'd be a hell no lol. I COULD see my self using it for say, plugging into my phone for quick tiktoks or something, sure. A good lil mobile setup? That too. But for an every day use scenario, I wouldn't unless again, I were just starting out. These can sound fine for the long run too though, seen plenty do it and know some personally who do despite having all other top end gear. They just EQ it during recording and such. The only thing bad is like you said, they do tend to distort easily!

I don't care what a mic sounds like, i just want it to light up and change colour when I'm talking. Okay I'm joking. There are by now mics at the cheaper end of the scale that work, I dunno, how are Beringer's LDCs? I'd still recommend a Rode NT1 (possibly the signature issue) to someone starting out on vo that doesn't have a grand plus to drop on a Neumann or Austrian Audio, lewitt etc. But definitely don't waste money on something like that!

I have one of these... It's my always on the desk in a boom arm, mic.... Definitely use it with an an external shock mount and an external pop filter! If you want to use dark mode for spoken word it It just takes a little EQ but it is good for that. V1 can get you closer to a condenser sound for vocals. Again if you want a darker sound... The dark mode handles EQ very very well... However the versatility is really where it shines... And I would say it's more for music than broadcast.

Excellent video (and the other one). I love the videos of the "cheaper stuff". Although most of this stuff is not for me. I'm sure a "beginner" would be over the moon. I know I would if this stuff was available 45 years ago.

I LOVE BEHRIINGER - UMC404HD Extern audio device, that ROCKS(used it for years) I use RØDE mic´s... In 2024 Behringer has very good products for the price
