I have a few Behringer products and recently bought another 2 days ago they have never failed me so far and I'm talking years and still running. My studio moto is BUDGET and still get quality sounds out of my studio. Bottom line, amazing for the price !

I went ahead to purchased the ISOVOX for my ISOVOX, and it drastically improved my audio. Sure there is a bit of low frequencies, but you can easily EQ those out. I'm glad I chose not to listen to all the negative reviews 😊

Would you buy this over a Steinberg IXO22/UR22C or a Scarlett 2i2? The prices are about the same where I live. Currently, I have an EVO 4, but the USB C interface on mine is faulty.

Hey guys! sorry I missed the livestream. Writing this comment as Im watching it. Go for it, dude! It's Yellowtec. It's an amazing mic boom that totally deserves its own video. Then you make your mic boom comparison video. If it all somehow sucks (yeah right) then break ties. Bottom line this seems like as good an opportunity to review these products as I would have expected, before. I would personally take advantage of a 10% discount on an affiliate link from Dark Corner for a M!ka arm.

Sennheiser e 835 is the mic I have been using for years, sounds great, good rejection, tough as nails and feels awesome in the hand.

The original SM58 sounds best. The Nexadyne and Beta are sibilant. Now that I pointed it out, listen for it.

How comparable is the new mic to the 58 at knocking out a drunken thief trying to steal your guitar during load out?

I was looking for Maono PD400X, not up there. In India PD400x is priced at Rs. 10,000/- and PD200x at Rs. 4,000/-, do you think PD400X worth the price difference? (I don't need RGB). Thanks. Where would you put PD400x in the above list?

Tried Cubase, expensive and you'll need to spend another $3000 in VST/samples etc. Logic Pro is good and has more simple ways to get plugin/samples (no crazy licensing). Digital Performer is worky .. adding VST with Options vs VST (come on, there is no need for two menu items for one operation). MixCraft 10.x is very good in getting stuff done quickly and doesn't cost a fortune and adding VST/Plugins/Samples are super simple. Adobe is a joke, not only do you not own what you create, you pay a fortune to not own what you create and it's buggy software. BUT, what no one really tells you is that the initial cost of the DAW software is nothing compare to the VST/PlugIns/Samples/Loops you'll need.

I’ve been here before, Audix, Sennheiser, Shure KSM9 and 8, all have their place, none have completely replaced the SM58. But I’ll still be curious to try it. What’s most interesting to me is why haven’t I seen a single UA-cam creator doing videos of more than local cover bands in crappy rooms, or single person mixing from the stage coffee shop setups. No diss to those folks at all (like you), but I’m a pro engineer and I’ve yet to see a single review or test in what I’d call a pro environment, let’s say at minimum 500 cap room, in ears, or even much bigger. Some environment where a real mix is possible and where a change in performance of a vocal mic will make a huge difference in getting closer to AAA audio quality. That more than anything is why I’m sceptical.

Just got the NT1 5th Gen as an ipgrade to my $20 tackstar shotgun mic. I RREEEAAALLLYYY want to get the NTH100 for long haul editing but as you say.... would you say it's a make or brake issue for these headphones. I'm so close to getting them

Roadies like to factor in durability. As you know, there are countless videos of people running them over with tucks, or even putting them through fire and pitchers of beer and they still work. I wonder if anyone will put a $300 mic through those kinds of tests.

The Nexidyne definitely sounds better. However, if you give a dazzling performance, no one will care if you're using a less expensive mic. Our ears adjust to sound.

Other musicians spend thousands on gear, so why shouldn't a singer? I often wonder why singers think cheap mics are sufficient. They are not. On the other hand an SM58 may do the job well enough, as long as you have the right mic technique. That is also: not handling the mic like it's a male organ.

Mic feedback when monitoring with headphones gives me the fear 😂 how does this new mic handle that?

For me the sm58 was never go to mic, sounds terrible, so flat in every way.. You can find many better sounding mics for similar price.

Copying Sennheiser?

I would like to see you do a comparison of the $300.00 Shure Nexadyne vs. the $249.00 Telefunken M81 microphone. The M81 mic is amazing in how flat of a response curve it has (i.e. virtually no coloration and minimal EQ needed) along with having minimal handling noise & a super-cardioid pattern to minimize feedback on stage (*with the proper positioning of floor monitors). The M81 is spectacular on my wife’s vocals, drums, etc.

There are already more empathetic and relatable reviewers sharing their thoughts on Maono gear, so, we surely don't need your take on their products. You seem to consider yourself a pretty hot reviewer, and you seem to be proud of your sarcastic/acidic reviewing style, that's just sad, not a lot of people can digest such an attitude. Maybe that explains your subscriber count when compared against other reviewers. Looks like you have a knack for reviewing well established, well-known, budget-unfriendly products, so, why bother reviewing brands like Maono or Fifine? Just to fuel up your excessive and unnecessary sarcasm and irony? You evidently are happy to get free stuff from the likes of Rode, Shure, Lauten Audio and such, so, why don't you just play safe with those brands and leave the beginner friendly gear niche to others that are professional enough to be capable of refraining from sarcastic, humiliating and just offensive remarks to address an issue with a product? You are not even close to be a Bandrew Scott or a Tom Buck, and although you can get some sarcasm from Podcastage reviews, they are tolerable, yours are just rants. I'll grab my popcorn and wait for your response, because if there's something certain in the Dark Corner Studios channel is that criticism is always attacked, even taking the time to create videos exclusively dedicated to fight with the viewers that don't align to your childish reviewing style.
